Of course, parents in Taiwan don't want to face this kind of frustrated truth. According to Chinese traditional custom, people just want their children, boys will become a father and girls become a mother. That is the normal situation in the world. In Taiwan, there is only Man can be the inheritor from their fathers or ancestor. It involves sexual discrimination. Let's talk about parents' mind. I know most of parents want their children to grow up normally. Parents usually ask their sons "Do you have any girlfriends?" and this would be the very serious problem. Why do boys have to love girls? Those children choose to not talk to their parents about the gender problem because they are afraid of being blamed by their parents. So, the best way is to hide the secret. It's really difficult to hear from someone tell parents that " I'm a gay or a lesbian." This situation still exsists now and it becomes a famous issue in Taiwan. The government notice this problem gets worse and worse. Why should parents react when their children tell them the trth? I have heard from many parents that if their children become gays or lebians, they won't their children come into the house. On the one hand, parents love their children, so they can't accept "abnormal" children. On the other hand, I can't say parents overprotect their children is wrong. All I can say is if this society doesn't give much pressure to "these people", perhaps parents will understand loving people is no matter which gender you are.

In 2003, the executive branch of the Republic of China government (Executive Yuan) proposed legislation granting marriages to same-sex couples under the Human Rights Basic Law; however, it faced opposition among cabinet members and legislators, and has been stalled since and thus not voted on. Currently, Taiwan does not have any form of same-sex unions.
A poll of 6,439 Taiwanese adults released in April 2006 by the National Union of Taiwan Women's Association/Constitutional Reform Alliance concluded that 75% believe homosexual relations are acceptable, while 25% thought they were unacceptable.(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Same-sex_marriage_in_Taiwan )

Today, there are no laws against homosexuality. However, there are still some people think it's unacceptable. Well, what should I say? It's all about the freedom and it must be fair to everyone.
Why can heterosexualityhave their marriage? Why same sex marriage can't? It's apparent that it's not fair, isn't it? If all people want a fair human right, same sex marriage in democratic Taiwan should be done. I think it's ironic to the religion because Christian says we are brothers and sisters, that is to say we are the same to God. Nevertheless, Christian hates homosexuality. There must be something unreasonalbe doctrines between true love and morality. Although some people can't accept this, it's still a trend in the world. Same sex marriage will legalize in Taiwan.

Gays and Lesbians are all human. Perhaps you can't accept their activities but you can't deny it that it's all about different love. Love is always there and love isn't guilty. You can regard it as an art in the world. Don't blame them and they just want a perfect love peacefully.
