I recommend Jet Li to be my representative. In Hollywood, Jet Li succeeds in playing a Kung Fu fighter. The success of Asian kung fu stars in America works against Asian American actors and filmmakers by perpetuating a single, limited image of Asians in the minds of audiences and Hollywood decisionmakers. I know many foreigners want to visit Taiwan and some of their reasons are learning Kung Fu. Foreigners consider that Taiwan has great fighters who can teach them Kung Fu. In the recent years, there are increasingly films are about Kung Fu, such as Kiss of the Dragon, Kung Fu Panda, The Forbidden Kingdom, Mulan and so on. It's a positive stereotype.
I've heard of someone told me that one time when he was in a lobby, he saw a man(Chinese) who wore a night-robe hanging around the lobby. What a shame! How dare he was so shameless? It makes me feel embarrassed that I'm a Chinese, too. I have a friend who comes from New York she said that when she arrived in Taiwan, she saw some people chew a mysterious thing which makes people threw up blood! How scary scene it was and disgusting. I don't know how to expain that it's just like Chinese gum. One day, when I turned up TV, there was a talk show about Chinese traditional food. Could you guess what I saw on TV? Yes, I saw one guy was eating and spitting! Gosh! Didn't he care about he was interviewed at that time? It's too much to say that Chinese have many bad habits. It almost becomes a representitive impression about Chinese people. It's a negative one.

I've seen the movie"Kill Bill", and in this movie the enemy is Japanese. When we talk about Japan, the Ninja will appear. It's all our impression about Japan. So, it's a kind of stereotype. There are still other examples such as "The Ring" about mysterious spirits, "Godzilla" about a horrible monster and so on. These are Japanese which are shot by the Hollywood. They are relative to Japan traditional impression to people.

If I ask 100 people, they will give me the same answer - men kiss men, so they are couples, aren't they? It's obvious men are usually not sensitive creatures and they won't show their emotion with a very intimate action, just like women. People believe that if males are good friends, they don't show their friendship by this sick action. At most males usually hit friend's back or bottom. Friendship doesn't need such intimate action. However, we can see females kiss each other or lead their hands each other. Is it curious that why males can't do the same action? I think between two females have a feeling like adoration or a kind of friendship. They want to show their special friendship. They just think why they can lead their hands with boyfriends, but why not friends? Not only love but also friendship, females can do those things.
Therefore, no matter you're straight or lesbian, you can kiss each other. On the contrary, males do those things and they are probably considered a gay right away. That is to say lesbians are the covert gender but gays are dominant relationship.
